scserv is a Computone RAS 2000 controller card with four "REX" cards for serial connections (16-ports each)

scserv-power can reboot scserv, and also has automatic reboot of scserv if scserv fails to respond to pings.

an scserv config file from 7/14/2025 was saved to burton.starp.bnl.gov in /var/lib/tftpboot/scserv-config.  To use it with a replacement unit [assuming scserv itself is offline, and NB - this is an intuition-based guess and untested!]: make a network setup on the the new device for starp, go to the settings tab (assuming the web interface is enabled), and set boot type "TFTP", with host burton.starp.bnl.gov and file "scserv-config".  On burton, as root, do "systemctl start tftp.service", then reboot the replacement scserv unit.
