Update 1/26/11
Figure 1 shows the eta-phi distribution of the higher energy tower in pion candidates from data with decays into non-adjacent towers and reconstructed invariant mass between .1 and .4 GeV. Figure 2 shows the same distribution for the lower energy tower. It appears that the peak seen at ~.3 GeV is pretty well spread out over the whole barrel. Large gaps are regions of the BSMD that are excluded because of bad status.
