After excluding the threshold of 3 sigma above pedestal, I read the fmsfast mudst data. As a test, I only use one mudst file which is,

   /star/data14/reco/ppProduction2008/ReversedFullField/P08ie/2008/060/9060015/st_fmsfast_9060015_raw_1160003.MuDst.root

   I checked the U panel raw ADC distributions of the ESMD.

   Fig1, several strips of the U pannel sector 0. ( sector is marker from 0 to 11)

     This looks ok, the other U pannel sectors plots are here. I will input more data files and see what's the data look like.
