ESMD raw adc distribution with related EEMC tower adc cut
I look at the U/V panel strips which have the crossing point near one tower center with tower adc cut ( neer the mip region).
(1) one U/V panel group which have crossing near the tower center.
I look at the sector 0 U panel strip 119 and sector 0 V panel strip 52 which are related with sector 0 tower 52. And set the cut which between pedestal+a and pedestal+b for the tower adc, then look at the strips raw adc distribution. I use around 1.2M run08 pp events, using run 9067004, 9067005, 9067007 and 9067008.
In Fig1 and Fig2, the left panel is for tower adc and the red lines shows the cut. The middle panel is for U panel strip 119 and the magenta is for raw adc, and the black is the raw adc with the cut. The right panel is for V panel strip 52, and color has the same meaning as the middle one.
(I) Fig1, with the cut between pedestal+7 and pedestal+35.
(II) Fig2, with the cut between pedestal+17 and pedestal+45.
(2) I selected another tower which is sector 0 tower 30, and find several strips which have crossing points near the center of this tower.
The U panel strip id are : 119-124
The V panel strip id are : 121-126
When there's mip signal in the EEMC tower, the particle may transfer several strips related with this tower. So I sumed the adc subtracted pedestal for these strips, and look at the distribution.
In Fig3 and Fig4, the left panel is for tower adc and the red lines shows the cut. The middle panel is for U panel strips and the blue is for raw adc, and the black is the raw adc with the cut. The right panel is for V panel strips, and color has the same meaning as the middle one.
Fig3, run 9057030.
Fig4, run 9067060
It's a bit strange to get such V panel strips adc distribution. There's no direct correlation with the V pannel strips with the tower, I think the V panel strips signals are related with the signals related with the other towers. Or may due to the other reason?
