ESMD MIP calibration 1

    I used 11 runs of pp run08 data to do a test for the ESMD calibration.

    The runs are,

        9064027,9064029,9064030,9064031,9064032,9064033,9064036,9064037,9064041,9064042,9064043,9069064.

    To get the minimum ionizing particle signal in the ESMD raw adc distribution. So first I using cuts that is at least 3 strips (2 neighbor U strips and one related V strip or 2 neighbor V strips and one related U strip) which has crossing points near the center of the tower has mip signal. Then look at the tower adc distribution.

    Fig 1, Sector U strip 122, 123 and V strip V 53, 54 and the related tower 52 adc distribution.

               The red lines in the first four panels shown in the cuts in the adc distribution. And the last panel shows the red distribtuion show the tower adc distribution with the cuts.

 

     Then with the same cuts, I look at the raw adc distribution with strips with the same cuts.
