run 9 inclusive jet time dependence studies.
Run9 inclusive jet time dependence:
To check the consistency of Brian's di-jet invariant mass time variation studies , I looked at the normalized inclusive jet pT time dependence. The run9 run list are divided into day 120-129, day 130-139, day 140-149, day 150-159, day 160-169, day 170-179, day 180. I use the Anti-kT R=0.6 jet algorithm to reconstruct jets. I take the jet pT in time period of day 180 as the refence, and divide jet pT yields in the other time period by the reference value to see the time dependence.
The jet pT yields are normalized by BBC-Cat2 MB, VPDMB, ZDCMB, JP1 and L2JetHigh scaler information taken from the runlog, I also use the BBC-Cat2 MB luminosity used for the inclusive cross section as the normalization.
Fig1, BBC-Cat2 MB luminosity normalization. Left is the JP1 trigger inclusive jet pT , and right is the L2JetHigh trigger inclusive jet pT .
Fig2, BBC-Cat2 MB scaler normalization. Left is the JP1 trigger inclusive jet pT , and right is the L2JetHigh trigger inclusive jet pT .
Fig3, ZDCMB scaler normalization. Left is the JP1 trigger inclusive jet pT , and right is the L2JetHigh trigger inclusive jet pT .
Fig4, VPDMB scaler normalization. Left is the JP1 trigger inclusive jet pT , and right is the L2JetHigh trigger inclusive jet pT .
Fig5, Jet trigger scaler normalization. Left is the JP1 trigger inclusive jet pT normalized by the , and right is the L2JetHigh trigger inclusive jet pT .
The Jet trigger scaler normalization has the smallest time dependence which is as expected. The VPDMB scaler normalization has the smallest time variantion compared with the other MB triggers.
