NPE in Run14 Au+Au 200 GeV Meeting Minutes by Zhenyu - 2015/05/22
0) Code Status - Mustafa
a. Kunsu's NPE tree production code review is done:

b. Xiaozhi's code for StarEvtGen has been reviewed and sent to Jason.

1) Data - Kunsu
a. discussed triggerID distribution for events fired MB triggers in slide 4. The bottom-left trigger ID figure suggests a large overlap between MB and CT triggered events in the sample Kunsu looked at, i.e. day 96, 97, 106, 107, .... Checking the Run log trigger mix webpage, Kunsu's plot seems to be more or less reasonable.
b. discussed RefMult distribution for events fired MB and HT triggers shown in slide 4. The distributions are not fully understood. Suggested to make gRefMult plots as well.
c. The EMC eID distributions shown in slide 5-8 look reasonable. Suggested to use looser pairMass and pairDCA cuts for HT to get more statistics
d. Suggest to remove nEta and nPhi cuts for MB, and looser pairMass and pairDCA cuts for HT to get more statistics for the DCA distributions shown in slide 9.
2) Simulation - Xiaozhi
a. clarified the simulation scheme, i.e. incorporate EvtGen as an external decayer in STAR GEANT simulation
b. discussed discountinuity in B0 ctau distribution shown in slide 4. Wei suggested it could be electrons from cascade decays B->D->e.
c. will start working on detector simulation: 1. Xiaozhi will get the code from Michael for Hijing+STAR GEANT simulation 2. Mustafa will try use EvtGen as an external decayer to run STAR detector simulation
