NPE in Run14 Au+Au 200 GeV Meeting Minutes by Zhenyu - 2016/2/5
Updated on Fri, 2016-02-05 22:15. Originally created by yezhenyu on 2016-02-05 22:15.
1) Kunsu:
slide 3-4: the cause for the difference between SL15c and SL15k needs to be understood.
slide 3: what are those electrons with MC conversion radius<2 cm where there is no material? Kunsu and Xiaozhi will cross-check
slide 5: pion efficiency from Michael also exhibits a change between SL15c and SL15k. Xin commented that this was an early study by Michael. The difference is due to inclusion of SSD in SL15k (?) and the difference disappears after the bug fix
slide 6: large drop in "Real HFT matching efficiency with and w/o mismatch removal, even at high pT. could be because the reconstructed track picks up the PXL1 hit of its photonic electron partner. Kunsu will verify this.
slide 7: Dalitz decay electrons with mismatched HFT hits have different DCA_xy distribution than those with no mismatched HFT hits. The fraction is 25% for electron 1<pT<2. Could impose a real challenge on B/D->e template fit based on DCA. Kunsu will check the situation at higher pT and the DCA distribution of primary pions
slide 8-10: Kunsu should reweight gamma and pion Dalitz pT spectra to data, do a comparison between data/MC for R integrated regions, like [0-2], [2-5], [5-10].
AOB: discussed single muon analysis. Bingchu and Jie are going to do feasibility studies
