minutes for HF PWG meeting 06/12/14
We briefly discussed the disc requirement for HFT. Now HFT study includes simulation and production heavily rely on the rcf institution/lbl and pdsf rnc disks. We need discuss and decide if we need require additional disc spaces.
Shenghui presented the analysis on low pT NPE from run12 pp MB data. Some preliminary raw results shown. Some suggestions summarized below:
1) Daniel suggest to change the pT cut to >0.15 for partner electron to enhance the phe reconstruction efficiency at low pT. He also suggest to use the same cuts as Xiaozhi did (-1 < nsigma_e < 3 ?) to check the purity.
2) Suggested to open the partner PID cut from (0,2) to (-1,3) to increase the phe statistics.
3) Require tighter cut for high pT to increase purity.
4) Check embedding sample for efficiency study.
