From a Pythia simulation of pp-collisions at sqrt(sNN) = 200 GeV. The corrected jet pT ('pTcorr = pTraw - rho * Ajet', rho being the mean background density and Ajet being the area of the jet in question) is the red distribution, and the raw jet pT (pT of jets immediately after reconstruction) is the black distribution. Jets were reconstructed using the FastJet3 implementation of the anti-kT algorithm with R=0.5.
