Features of the STAR Notes Module (drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/starnotes)

• List of all (approved) STAR Notes
  User can change the sorting of the entries in the list. There are two ways of sorting currently implemented
  • SN Number
  • Date

          To change the sorting click one of the links available above the list.  If you click the second time on a link a sorting order will be switched (descending/ascending).

• Search options
  • year of publication
  • SN Number
  • Category
  • String (search if a string exists in a title or abstract of the STAR  Notes) -  this option may not always work. This is a known problem and will be fixed.
• Submit

• Computing

• Management

STAR Notes for moderators

• Only a specific group of people can make a decision about a STAR Note publication.
  When a Note is submitted, an automatic email is sent to all moderators of the category to which this Note has been assign and a copy of this email is sent to a submitter.
  One of moderators should go to drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/starnotes/submitted and approve or decline the publication of this Note.
  Then, an email is sent to a submitted notifying of the decision.

Access levels to the STAR Notes Module

• browse STAR Notes (e.g. any visitor of STAR web pages)
• submit a STAR Note (all STAR members)
• approve a STAR Note (moderators only)
• administer
