| Abstract | : | The performance of the STAR TPC has been studied in events of unusually high charged multiplicity, corresponding to x1, x2 and x4 pseudorapidity density, central (b<1fm), HIJING events. The capability of tracking in this environment has been determined by using the track following method TPT, and is expressed in terms of both tracking efficiency and reconstructed momentum resolution. |
