Abstract | : | The Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider at Brookhaven will begin producing colliding beams by the middle of next year. We will undoubtedly have our first preliminary HBT analysis from one or more of the RHIC detectors shortly thereafter. In this paper we will attempt to identify some experimental issues involved in carrying out HBT studies at RHIC in the context of the STAR detector and will try to address what realistic expectations we can have for these studies. |
