| Abstract | : | We report results on dynamical fluctuations in transverse momentum on an event-by-event basis in Au+Au collisions at sqrt{s_{NN}} = 130GeV measured by the STAR experiment at RHIC. The dynamical fluctuations are about 1.4 % of the mean transverse momentum determined within pseudo-rapidity -0.5<0.5 for the top 15 % central collisions. Possible implications of the results are discussed. |
