Using st_physics_adc_11119033_raw_2500001, I created event display images from the first few events in the file (after deactivating some voltage=0 entries in the tpcAnodeHVavg table and re-running bfc.C). The results are below, showing no events that appear to actually occur within the desired STAR collision region until the 10th one.

I also included an image of a pretty intense upstream event.

The file had 241 events, of which 184 had tracks, and 12 had 1 vertex seed, 4 had 2 seeds, and 1 had 3 seeds.
