Followed by last week's discussion. Yulou sent the check to Yuri:
https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/system/files/Check_DifferenceOfAcceptance_DataUsingDifferentStarLibrary_yulou_20240203.pdf
Yuri reply that the differences are coming from backgrounds.

We recollect the slides and send to Yuri again:
https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/system/files/P23ie_check_Feb07.pdf - Yuanjing
Yuri said he did not change any cuts but just redo the dE/dx calibration. the only difference is no nHitsFit/nHitsPoss>0.52 cut.

2, Update on the He4L at 3 GeV - Fengyi
https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/system/files/He4L_Production_Update_20240131.pdf
- Barlow test on the extrapolation seems strange, including some sys uncertainties in the stat errors
- Decay phase space/Dalitz plot weighting: try two dimension weighting
- Uncertainties from the branching ratio
- Try using Blast-Wave function to describe the H4L (try re-fitting since in the published data, do not fix n=1)
- Why He3 and triton mean pT are different in both 200 GeV and 3 GeV
- If statistics feasible, maybe look at centrality dependence of mean <pT> and pT/centrality dependence of H4L/He4L ratio
3, Other issues: the coming SQM abstract plans:
    - A=4 hypernuclei
    - Isobar hypernuclei
    - Energy dependence of H3L

1, Reconstruction of double Lambda - Dongsheng
https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/system/files/dsli_240110.pdf
- Based on Xi experience, Xi->Lambda pi, sometimes (p1+pi1)+pi2 mis-reconstruct as (p1+pi2)+pi1 or (p1+pi2)+ random pi which cause a fake peak in the left side of real Xi (see ). Possible toy MC

Major comments from last week’s PWGC preview (notes: https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/event/2023/12/15/STAR-PWGC-meeting and recording: /star/u/rksooraj/PAC/PWGCmeeting_recording/20231215.mp4):

1) Single track efficiency uncertainties: Double check 27 GeV (current 2%); update FXT uncertainties when the TPC eff. group releases the value.
2) May be look at minbias event for mean pT and dN/dy since current uncertainties are still appreciable
    -> Maybe we can look at 0-40% centrality first.
3) Seems a step from 11.5 - 14.6 GeV in figure 3 and 4 (maybe because 11.5 GeV official embedding / centrality definition are not available yet)
4) 3.9 GeV pT spectra in 10-40% centrality seems steeper (although overall the slopes in FXT energies are consistent within uncertainties)

    - Maybe try to find a set of cuts to ensure the combinatorial backgrounds smoother (e.g. a tighter chi2prim_pip cuts)

Xiujun -> 3.2 GeV  H3L,H4L
Yingjie -> 3.5 GeV H3L,H4L
Yuanjing -> 3.9, 4.5 GeV H3L,H4L
Yulou -> 5.5 GeV

4, Any plans on H3L binding energy measurements using COL datasets? (current no one work on this)

Some technique information:
1, PID information:
FXT Run2020 3.9 GeV PID: /star/u/jiyj/pwg/Hypertron/data/7p3_2020_2body/StRoot/StKFParticleAnalysisMaker/StKFParticleInterface.cxx GetPID(...) , note that the input dEdxPuLL to this function should not use absolute value.
FXT Run2020 4.5 GeV PID: /star/u/jiyj/pwg/Hypertron/data/9p8_2b/StRoot/StKFParticleAnalysisMaker/StKFParticleInterface.cxx

3, Standarded procedure for spectra analysis:
1) Run QA, Centrality definition etc.
https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/blog/gnigmat/centrality-definition-star
2) PID recalibration
    - Since BES II
 datasets suffer some issue with offset of PID, so recalibration is needed
    - Read dEdx, dEdxPuLL information using the particle samples selected by TOF. Fit the distribution in fine momentum bins and extract the outer line of 3sigma/2sigma bands
    - As a cross check, double check whether the data has applied the correct PID cuts
3) Signal reconstruction
4) Efficiency correction
    - Embedding request can be submitted right after first presentation in PWG
    - Embedding QA
    - pT or rapidity weighting
    - (reconstructed)/ (total MC)
5) Differential spectra e.g. d^2N/(2pi pT dpT dy ) vs pT in different rapidity(y) and centrality bins
6) dN/dy extrapolation
