First look at clusters in cosmic ray setup

The figure below shows cluster size versus phi of the cluster. It shows that the geometry I pick up from the DB is not right:

And the distribution of clusters along R is showing two "blobs":

 

The correlation between cluster charge and the value of ADCMax appears good, though trivial (maybe I'll learn more about it):

 

The correlation between R and phi for a particular (cluster) appears poor:

 

The multiplicity of hits in all three quadrants appears close to 3 (which I read as good news):

The quadrant placed at the bottom of the stand has the following number of clusters:

The top quadrant shows the following multiplicity:

 

And finally the multiplicity in the middle quadrant:

 

 

Just reading these histograms one would conclude that with the cluster definition as set at this moment the quadrant efficiency is: TOP 70% MIDDLE 70% and BOTTOM 60%

 

The hit location for each quadrant (the geometry is still putting all 3 cosmic ray quadrants in disc 0) :

 

18-AUG-2012  Reading the code I realized that the way to set the cosmic ray geometry is not thru the database but with StFgtCosmicTestStandGeom

I modified that file to the actual setting: arm=0 reads top and middle quads and arm=1 reads the bottom one:

with that change I get a better picture for space hits:
