FHC transverse profile study 5

 

With the FHC Zoffset is 948 cm. Pion+, pion- , neutron and anti-neutron are shot to the center of FHC, and the positions on the surface of FHC are (124,5,948), (124,-5,948). The energy of particles are 60 GeV and I digitized the energy for one count is 50 Mev.

      I studied the 2 cases of energy deposit in FHC or FMS.

   (a), the hadronic shower starts in FMS to see the energy deposit in FMS and in FHC.

   (b), the hadronic shower starts in FHC to see the energy deposit in FHC.

   For a test, I defined if the total energy deposit in FMS is larger than 1 GeV, then I think the hadronic shower starts in FMS.

   (1), pion+

   (a), the particle points to (124, 5, 948) from (0, 0, 0)
