We ran over the pp500 data from 2011 looking for upsilons.
Long. Asym alternate background estimation
To evaluate the background subtraction for A_LL, an alternate method is the after-the-fact estimate, where one subtracts the background asymmetry from the raw (or total) asymmetry rather than subtract

Updated A_L, A_LL plots
It was realized that the A_L and A_LL plots have not been updated since Oct 11th, before the last rize of the trigger simulator thresholds. While trigger efficiencies should cancel in the asymetries, the data Monte Carlo comparison is effected by the trigger, and thus through the background fitting method the asymmetries can be effected.
